Bio

Daniele Ciminiello is an award-winning contemporary classical composer and pianist published by Universal Edition and credited in several albums released by Phasma Music and RMN Music.

In February 2025 he won the first prize at the Symphony San Sebastián Concours, organized by County Hall Arts, London.

His works are regularly performed all over the world, and his name has been featured in international festivals like the Lviv New Music Days (Lviv, Ukraine), Eursax 2024 (Trento, Italy), New Music Days (Chisinau, Moldova) and the Roma Tre Orchestra concert season (Rome, Italy).

His compositions have been performed by renowned orchestras and ensembles such as the Lviv National Philharmonic Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra “Sergei Lunchevici” of the Republic of Moldova, the Phasma Music Chamber Ensemble and the Ensemble “Novecento” of the National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome, and by well-known artists like Iwona Glinka and the Duo Carrozzo-Fasiello.

As a pianist, he specialises in solo and chamber music. In chamber music, he gained most of his experience in the classical repertoire for saxophone, performing with renowned musicians.

In 2019 he recorded with the well-known Italian sax player Federico Mondelci the work Sonata for New York by A. Patera for the IMG label.

In 2021, he released his first solo album for piano, Message in a Bottle, which includes 10 original compositions.

Daniele Ciminiello was born in Lecce, Italy, in 1991.

He graduated in piano and composition at the Tito Schipa Conservatory in Lecce and at the National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome.

In 2011, he was awarded the Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music (LRSM) in Music Performance – Piano by The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) – London.

In 2019, he obtained a Master of Music in Film Scoring at E-Campus University in Lecce.

He is currently a piano, composition, and music theory teacher at the Saudi Music Hub in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
